I painted this after a lovely Easter Sunday walk in Farndale, followed by a visit to an organic milk farm in Gillamoor where we bought some strawberry milk (which inspired the pink flecks in this piece). It was such a lovely day, and I wanted to capture that calm, fresh feeling in this painting.
